As long as weve had periods, there has been a stigma surrounding them!
From a young age we are made to feel there is something almost to be ‘ashamed’ of with having periods. You may not have even noticed it happening!!
Ill give you some examples…
- Notice how in adverts for period products, its always a BLUE liquid…. never red.
- If a woman or girl gets assertive or upset or stands up for herself, its all too common to hear something along the lines of ‘oh she must be on her period’
- A image on instagram which shows period blood WILL BE REMOVED, but a photo of a small injury with blood in… wont be. (Also, female nipples = banned, male nipples = absolutely fine)
SO, BLOB BOX is BREAKING THE STIGMA!
Periods are a NATURAL, and very F’ing essential part of life… without our menstrual cycles, life COULD NOT CONTINUE.
On top of that, they are bloody horrible! The physical aches, cramps, pains, the sickness, headaches and the hormones!!! So Blob Box have come along to deliver a monthly delivery to aid you during your ‘monthly delivery’ from mother nature!

PERIOD HAVERS – REJOICE!
In the box there are sweet treats like hot choc and flapjack because, lets be honest, you deserve it. Bits to pamper yourself, like a luxurious face mask & bamboo face cleansing cloths, plus some gorge makeup items which I loved!! The lip liner was, TOP NOTCH. And of course there are a bunch of tampons and sanitary pads to keep you stocked up for your monthly flow in the sweetest little branded bag, in fact it was JUST the right amount.
The packaging was SUPER cute too, really funky box that it all came in that comically says ‘OPEN ME ON THE BLOB’.
Honestly I am over the moon that someone thought this up and its out there for everyone to get.
Blob Box has also gone to such a big effort to educate while providing value, in your box you get a leaflet explaining in more detail each stage of your cycle and which products in your box will be most useful for each stage. Its a curated box of goodies for you and your menstrual cycle. IF THERE IS ANYTHING, you should treat yourself to… it is this!
